Following an extensive and successful testing phase, the moment has arrived: Gilbert De Clercq's first fully electric Windrose Global E700 truck is now officially entering commercial service in Flanders. With all the required permits in place, the vehicle is ready to hit the road for long-haul operational transport. The deployment of the Windrose marks an important milestone in the further electrification of the company's fleet and reflects Gilbert De Clercq's continued commitment to investing in sustainable, future-oriented transport solutions.

Gilbert De Clercq, specialised in transport, logistics and integrated supply chain solutions, proudly announces the acquisition of the activities of Transport Dirk Verdoodt, based in Dendermonde. With operations in Belgium, Spain and Slovakia, the family-owned business continues to invest in sustainable growth, innovation and a strong local presence within a European network.
