Every year there are a number of deaths caused by traffic accidents with trucks as a result of the ‚Blind Spot‘. Therefore Gilbert De Clercq organized on Tuesday the 28th of November, 2017 a traffic lesson concerning this ‚Blind Spot‘ for the children of the Berkenboom Mozaïek school.
On the Grand Place of Sint-Niklaas there were 2 trucks of Gilbert De Clercq. All the children listened carefully to what our ‚driver mentors‘ Erik and Laurens had to say. „A very nice and instructive afternoon“, was the reaction afterwards. We are convinced that if more children were aware of the risks when passing a truck, there would be less accidents.
