With deep sadness we inform you that Gilbert Luciaan De Clercq, founder of Gilbert De Clercq in 1957, passed away at the age of 90.
He was leading the company with a lot of pleasure and energy until 2007 and phased out his responsibilities during the following years to hand over the end responsibility of the company in 2014 to the second generation.
Gilbert was the very example of a true entrepreneur : work hard, never give up and above all ‘do it’. Under his driving force and never-ending energy, the company grew towards an International well-known reliable partner in transport and logistics.
He will be missed, but always remembered.
